CHARTER OPTIONS
Steamrail can organise heritage trains tailored to suit any event, and we cater for groups ranging in size from 50 to 1,000 people.
Whether running suburban steam shuttles for a local traders’ association, moving hundreds of schoolchildren to a regional centre, or a sleeping berth train covering thousands of kilometres over days, no job is too big or too small.

CARRIAGES Steamrail has a wide selection of vehicles to choose from, ranging from timber-bodied vehicles built in the early 1900s right up to modern, steel-bodied air-conditioned carriages. Click here to see the list of Operational Carriages available.		DESTINATIONS Steamrail can operate trains throughout Victoria and into southern New South Wales. A map of the railway network is available here. The chartering of trains during 2010 is possible, however, destination availability will be affected by circumstances beyond our control. Contact us for further information and details on where and when charter train may operate. Steamrail Victoria is a Not-For-Profit voluntary organisation that restores and operates various examples of Victorian Railway rolling stock. The operation of these vehicles is made possible with the co-operation of the Victrack, the Department of Transport and V/Line Corporation Pty Ltd.
SPECIAL CARRIAGES FOR CHARTER
Moorabool Club Car Club car Moorabool is available for charter on most regular tours. Moorabool is fitted with a servery that includes two refrigerators, a microwave oven, instant hot water service and sound system with CD stacker. It is perfect for small groups of up to 40 people, parties, or just for a little privacy on one of our many outings. Click here for more photos of Moorabool.	Hobsons Bay Multifunction Car Multifunction car Hobson’s Bay has a DJ desk, CD player, large open floor area and speakers throughout. Primarily used as a dance carriage, it can also take on a number of other roles. Would you like to hold a meeting or conference in a moving train, or experience the charm and tradition of the old fashioned dining car? All this and more is possible in this versatile vehicle.
